I guess if the rider who passed was a considerate rider and person, they would act accordingly in his honor. If those honoring him act like assholes, what must that mean?
People don't realize that big gatherings like this are usually fund raisers to contribute back to the community somehow, due to the loss or victimization of another person...and blocking in this case was to let the fundraisers leave a parking lot safely...if you notice all the bikes were turning left like they were leaving a parking lot after meeting up and paying there donations to be in the ride to show support for the cause...maybe fallen vets, maybe victimized children ,who knows ?
Been on a few of those and yeah it’s all about safety just like most people pull over for a regular funeral, every now and then you have jackass that has no respect.
Blocking is an entitlement and negatively impacting how we are seen from other roads users . It's a new kind of behaviour showing how twisted mentality has gone.
Any time you see something like this it is because a friend a brother an good person has died this is a tribute to is family and a way for us to greave.
Olá James. Belas cenas da região, já começou a nevar por aí. Que belas imagens o piloto produziu. Like 1 decolou aqui de Ourinhos, estado de São Paulo.
Cool! It took me awhile to figure out I had to move it LOL :P My friend Mike Pick features prominently - he's in the green jacket talking to two guys one in a white shirt, one in black.
Thanks for your reply James: I wonder if you treated yourself to dinner at the "Whipple tree "Shanty ?" It may in fact no longer be there, but it catered to tourists & the "apres ski" folk from Candiac mountain. I am a "valley" boy from Cobden, but have lived in Alberta for many, many years. There is actually a piece of music written by a Calabogie local (dead these many years) titled "The Calabogie Waltz ". You now know more than you ever wanted to know about Calabogie ! Nice bike ! Cheers! Brian
@@gudni66 Thanks for your reply. The History of Calabogie & of the Black Donald Mine is worth a read if you are so interested. The "histerical society" as a Cobdenite used to say, doubtless has booklets regarding the specific histories. I meant to tell you that your video was very well done & annotated. Cheers! Brian
Being Canadian and Gen X there’s a point at which the city from above looks like miniatures and I expect to see a gigantic soft leather boot standing there and a voice saying “I’ll call Rusty and Jerome”.
You guys didn't really answer my question though because I live in Victoria which is bigger than Saskatoon yet we have no warehouse district anything like that here
@@carewser it’s where they planned the modern warehouse district for the city. The older warehouse district was just north of the downtown core. We have lots of businesses in the city that require warehouses Edit: basically we’re a remote city that, outside of Regina down south, takes a whole day to drive up from any other city. It’s also a hub along the northern railway.

look at us. we're so cool LOL :P
Giving bikers everywhere a bad name, blocking, lane splitting, speeding, entitled behavior.
Poor babies lane splitting is legal inCA.
@@FishNBraap Yea I don’t care if it’s ‘legal’ it’s stupid anyway.

Still illegal to do next time get a police officer to do it.
Blocking is not cool.
Blocking is required for the safety of the column. Car drivers suck.

Carew Martin That’s the North industrial area
Industrial district. My old office was right under this flight path. Once a month we used to get fighter jets roaring above us.
